Join the Friends of Moss Rock Preserve as they lead Interpretive Hikes in the 250 acre Moss Rock Preserve (nature preserve) adjacent to The Preserve neighborhood and festival site.

Sign up and meet up for all hikes at the Friends of Moss Rock Preserve booth at Booth 448 at the top of the Blue Artist Row (northeast side of the Village Green).
Schedule
Introduction to Moss Rock Preserve
11:00 am – Saturday & Sunday
This introductory hike will allow visitors to view the geology and plant life of this unique area.
Moss Rock Backcountry Tour
1:00 pm – Saturday & Sunday
Hike to landmarks in the western portion of the area such as the Great Wall, Hidden Glade and High Cliffs. 2 miles roundtrip. A significant amount of natural history interpretation will be given during the first section of the hike. Participants who would like a shorter walk can stop in the Boulderfield-Hidden Falls area near the start of the hike and return on their own. Distance to Hidden Falls and back to the festival is 3/4 miles roundtrip.
